Cd Cain began her writing adventure a couple of years ago when a story she felt needed to be told awakened in her soul. She had always loved the beauty and culture of the Louisiana bayou which she once called home. So it was here that she began the Chambers of the Heart series. Her goal was to tell the realistic story of a woman accepting who she was among the strict traditions and beliefs of her southern home. She hopes readers will feel the emotions of a woman coming to terms with her own sexuality as well as the effect it will have on her relationship with those closest to her. Throughout the series her characters will face the trials of life…some successful, some not so much. At the end of each book, Cd hopes she has captured the feelings to such a degree that the reader is left with their own sense of accomplishment and strength in whatever trials they too faced and conquered. It’s important to her to convey through her writing that we each face struggles in being who we fundamentally are and that we are all the same when it comes to living life’s journey.

  1. When will the 3rd book be available for purchase? I need to know the rest of the story. It feels like I’ve been waiting forever.

    • Hi Lindsey,

I am so sorry for the delay. I posted a blog yesterday morning that I hope will give some insight into the delay of things. I want you to know that support from those that have read my books means more than I can possibly express. The third book in the series was delayed. Originally it was because of publishing issues but then became more about my own personal storm. The combination did set things back a bit. I’ve tried to remember that I do fundamentally believe everything happens for a reason. Part of that reason is going to be to get Sam’s story out there. Her story is one which I can currently write with so much raw emotion to fill the pages that I am hopeful it will be my most truest expression. Thank you again for the support in my books. It means so very much to me!
